John West, a firefighter with the 910th Civil Engineer Squadron fire department here, places a yellow band around a simulated victim’s arm during a multi-agency anti-hijacking exercise held here, April 24, 2015. The yellow band helps emergency response personnel prioritize victims for treatment based on injury severity. In the background, other 910th firefighters fight a blaze on a training aircraft, simulating a commercial aircraft after terrorists detonate and explosive device. Participating agencies included the Western Reserve Port Authority, Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport, local law enforcement and fire departments, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Aviation Administration and Air Force Reserve.
