Military Personnel Section hosts educational open house Published Jan. 10, 2017 By Senior Airman Joshua Kincaid 910th Airlift Wing Public Affairs YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio -- The military is full of acronyms, forms and other potentially intimidating paperwork that can be hard to understand. Fortunately, a team of YARS Citizen Airmen are there to help ease the stress of navigating and properly filling out these forms. On Jan. 8, 2017 , the Military Personnel Section (MPS) of the 910th Force Support Squadron here, hosted an Open House in the training room of the civil engineering building. The Open House covered topics such as preparing and processing Enlisted Performance Reports (EPRs), Officer Performance Reports (OPRs) and outbound assignments as well as preparing and processing awards and decorations. Several Airmen attended these seminars. Capt. Angie Serrao, the Executive Officer for the 910th Mission Support Group here, led the first seminar covering EPRs and OPRs. “I like leading these seminars to educate Airmen on a variety of topics,” said Serrao. “Filling out these forms correctly is extremely important for Airmen to properly promote, progress and retire. I enjoy being someone that can help them achieve their goals.” Serrao suggests that anyone interested in these topics should speak with the 910th Command Support Staff or 910th Force Management section.
