Teresa Hams, commander of the 910th Mission Support Group, presents the Billy Mitchell Award to Jacob Ezzo, a cadet with the Civil Air Patrol's Squadron 051 Nov. 12, 2012 here. The award signifies that Ezzo has reached the mid-point of the cadet program and has transitioned from a cadet chief master sergeant to a cadet second lieutenant. Ezzo, a member of the Civil Air Patrol cadet program for more than two years, serves on Squadron 051's competition-level color guard. Cadets who earn the Mitchell award are eligible for immediate advanced promotion if they choose to enlist in the U.S. Air Force or U.S. Army.
