Davis 910th Airlift Wing Public Affairs YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio -- The 910th Airlift Wing here is hosting 41 Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) cadets from Ohio high schools for a 5-day encampment June 20-24. The JROTC cadets are ninth through 12th grade students at John Marshall and East Technical High Schools in Cleveland; Green High School in Uniontown; and Trumbull Career and Technical Center in Warren. Approximately 15 Youngstown Air Reserve Station Sailors, Marines and Air Force Reservists will volunteer to teach the teens leadership, teamwork, respect for others, and the core values through mentorship training, workshops, physical fitness, and drill and ceremony exercises. "The objective is to expand the lessons received at school and use application of lessons over the 5-day camp. We also intend to provide them hands on opportunities with team building lessons so they become more self-confident and stronger leaders within their schools and JROTC unit," said Air Force Reserve Lt Col Stephanie Welhouse, 910th Force Support Commander.
