The cover of the new magazine features members of the 910th Security Forces Squadron demonstrating their capabilities for a group of employers of 910th Airlift Wing Airmen. The employers were here as part of the annual Employer Awareness Day event. Turn to pages six and seven of the new magazine for more information on Employer Awareness Day.
The magazine also introduces a couple newcomers to Youngstown Air Reserve Station, including new vice wing commander Col. Patrick Slattery (page 4) and new Sexual Assault Response Coordinator Shelby Trimble (page 5).
Page 8 offers insight into the 910AW's Key Spouse Program, where spouses of reservists can gather to help Family and Airmen Readiness take care of reserve families. Several pages of news items keep reservists informed on important events and information while page 11 announces the promotion of several enlisted members and arrival of new members to YARS. A new episode of Winger also graces page 11 while page 12 tells the story of the 757th Airlift Squadron receiving the AFRC Loening Trophy for their efforts in cleaning up after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.
