The 910th Operations Group Aviation Resource Management (ARM) team was recently named 2014 Sergeant Dee Campbell Outstanding Small Unit Air Force ARM Team of the year by Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC).

This award is given to the best ARM team within AFRC with 29 or fewer members.

The ARM team, which consists of five full-time managers and five Traditional Reservist members, won the award for the fourth time since 2010.

Aviation resource managers work to ensure everything and everybody is ready for missions--maintaining flight records, validating aircraft safety, monitoring daily flight mission data and establishing schedules for aircrew training.

"We have demonstrated the professionalism, leadership and consistent performance to be recognized again as AFRC's Outstanding ARM Small Team of the Year," said Senior Master Sgt. Paul Boothe, ARM operations superintendent.

The ARM team will now move forward to compete for the Air Force's Reserve Component awards.

According to the award package, the team supported C-130 deployments in support of Operations Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve, Coronet Oak and aerial spray operations at home station or abroad. They exceeded expectations while supporting these missions and demonstrated operational readiness during the 910th Airlift Wing Unit Effectiveness Inspection with the new Air Force Inspection System.

Team members were recognized with 910th Airlift Wing military or civilian quarterly award winners and Promotion Enhancement Program board nominations. They went on to share their management excellence by supporting a Management Internal Control Toolset study with Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station, Pennsylvania, Program Integration review with Active Duty and Air Reserve components at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, and an Aircrew Manpower study at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.

The team was asked to perform special position assignments outside normal duties and enhanced programs by implementing best practices that reduced error rates and increased efficiencies for the organization.

"Our teamwork is based around this book entitled 'You Win with People!' by Woody Hayes," said Boothe. "Go Bucks!"
