Youngstown Air Reserve Station (YARS) recently gained a new member to the family, Master Sgt. Tiffany Grullon, Air Force Reserve Command line recruiter for the Cleveland Heights office.

Grullon, an Ohio native, found her niche in the recruiting field when she began bringing in future Airmen at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, June 2011, and continued doing so during her time in Colorado where she recruited for several Air Force bases including Buckley, Peterson and Shriver. She also recruited for the Air Force Academy. Prior to recruiting she was a pharmacy technician on active duty.

"I'm in a position where I can really help change lives," said Grullon. "It is really satisfying seeing trainees go from where they were to where they are now. They have the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than themselves and to get to a better place in life."

In order to prepare for recruiting in her new position, Grullon has started meeting members of YARS.

"It's been nice," said Grullon. "I've been walking into offices all over the base to meet everyone. They all seem friendly so far and I look forward to connecting with more people in the future."
