910th Citizen Airmen, statics support YNG Fly-In Published Aug. 13, 2013 By Master Sgt. Bob Barko Jr. 910th Airlift Wing Public Affairs Office VIENNA, Ohio -- A Fly-In was hosted by Winner Aviation, the Fixed Base Operator at Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport (YNG), here, July 27, 2013. The event featured a variety of small aircraft, either based at the airport or flown in from locations around the country as well as static displays of an Air Force Reserve C-130 Hercules cargo aircraft and an Air Force Reserve crash rescue vehicle, based at adjacent Youngstown Air Reserve Station (YARS), Ohio. Despite inclement weather cancelling an aircraft crash/rescue demonstration by the 910th Civil Engineer Fire Department, also based at YARS; event attendees were able to view the static displays, walk through the C-130, which taxied across the ramp from YARS to YNG, and speak with Citizen Airmen assigned to the air station.
