The mission of the YARBCC Charitable Fund, a 501(c)(3) public charity, is to raise and distribute monies to help support the basic and special needs of disabled and disadvantaged veterans as well as the emergency needs of local military personnel in Ohio’s Mahoning Valley and Pennsylvania’s Shenango Valley. Monies are raised through the annual golf outing event as well as generous donations throughout the year from individuals and organizations. Since August 2014, the fund has granted over $130,000 in grants to individual veterans in need. (Courtesy Photo/Ms. Brenda Rider)
