Group celebrates worldwide photowalk day at YARS

The 910th Civil Engineer Squadron fire department demonstrates the water cannon on one of the crash trucks for a group of photographers participating in Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photowalk on Oct. 1, 2016 here. Seven photographers from eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania participated in the walk at YARS. The group spent time on station photographing fire department trucks, equipment and personnel. They ended their visit with lunch at the Community Activity Center. Kevin Brichetto and Beau Albert, both firefighters with the 910th Civil Engineer Squadron fire department, show 12-year-old Ethan Hoffman how to use Jaws of Life, a hydraulic rescue tool for extracting victims from automobile accidents, here, July 24. Ethan was sworn in as an honorary second lieutenant as he became the 910th Airlift Wing’s 62nd Pilot for a Day, receiving a day military experiences and mementos.
