910th escorts boss lift to Wright-Patt
YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio—Master Sgt. Jason Cox, a member of the 445th Maintenance Squadron Fabrication Flight, displays parts manufactured by his shop and discusses the aircraft part fabrication process with a group of civilian employers during an ESGR funded Boss Lift from Youngstown Air Reserve Station to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, both in Ohio. ESGR Boss Lifts are intended to provide employers the opportunity to experience and observe the work and mission of Guard and Reserve forces, building advocacy for Reservists and Guardsmen who deploy or require time away from civilian jobs for military duty. Employers are transported, via military aircraft or watercraft, to military facilities where they observe Guard and Reserve members on duty. The 445th Fabrication Flight, which is responsible for aircraft structural maintenance, was selected as the 2011 Air Force Reserve Command maintenance Section of the Year.
