YARS leadership visits Cleveland VA Medical Center
LOUIS STOKES CLEVELAND VA MEDICAL CENTER, Ohio – Matthew Fleming, student at the Medical Center and Marine veteran, shows off his prosthetic leg to Youngstown Air Reserve Station Reservists during the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center June 4, 2012. Fleming is using the Biom Power Foot from the company iWalk, which is the most advanced of its kind and is part of the on-going process to develop better prosthetic technology for amputees. The Cleveland VA is a multi-specialty outpatient clinic and vet center that includes specialized programs such as blind rehabilitation, polytrauma care, invasive cardiology, post-traumatic stress disorders, comprehensive cancer center and several other areas of expertise.
