YARS and airport hosts KSU Women in Aviation
YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio – Air Force Reserve Senior Tech. Sgt. Phil Walsh, an Aircrew Flight Equipment craftsman assigned to the 910th Operations Support Squadron, shows an oxygen mask, used aboard C-130 Hercules aircraft, to members from the nearby Kent State University chapter of the Women in Aviation (WIA) group here, Feb. 24, 2012. The students, who are pursuing various degrees in the field of aviation, received a close up view of several pieces of aircrew survival equipment as part of the group’s visit to YARS and the adjacent Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport.
