Command Post: hub of all 910th coordination

YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio — Air Force Reserve Tech. Sgt. Keith Traylor, a Command Post (CP) controller with the 910th Airlift Wing, coordinates receipt of a mock press release to relay to wing leadership during a regularly scheduled exercise here, Dec. 6, 2011. CP controllers disseminate focused, accurate and often time-critical information throughout the wing’s chain of command. Some of their everyday tasks include orchestrating maintenance, passenger, cargo and logistics requirements for the 910th Airlift Wing’s C-130H cargo aircraft. Additionally, the controllers are responsible for producing reports to the wing's higher headquarters, keeping them informed of significant installation incidents, emergencies and capabilities.
