Operations Group honors local civic leader

YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio -- Air Force Reserve Col. Craig Peters, commander of the 910th Operations Group passes his unit's flag to David Deibel, president of Boardman Steel and vice president of the Youngstown Air Reserve Base Community Council during the operations group's first honorary commanders program December 3. "Mr. Deibel has been an avid contributor of our base by advocating for military members and their families in the Youngstown Community for over 25 years," said Col. Peters. "His participation in fundraisers, air shows, open houses, family days, the military ball, the Pilot for a day program, and other events has been his way of giving back to his community and supporting the nation that he loves," he concluded. The 910th Operations Group Honorary Commanders Program was designed to encourage an exchange of ideas, experiences, and friendships between key members of the community and the men and women of the 910th Operations Group.
