76th APS prepares love for Honduras
Air Force Reserve Master Sergeant Kevin Massie and Senior Airman Joseph Hudson, both members of the 76th Aerial Port Squadron, prepare a K-loader to receive pallets of medical equipment and supplies, school furniture, clothes and other donated items for transport to Honduras. Provided by local charity Mission of Love, the items are scheduled to be shipped via a KC-10 provided by the 514th Air Mobility Wing, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. The mission was arranged using the Denton program, which allows private U.S. citizens and organizations to use space available on U.S. military cargo planes to transport humanitarian goods, such as clothing, food, medical and educational supplies, and agricultural equipment and vehicles, to countries in need.
