Citizen Airmen of 910 AW welcome new commander
YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio -- Air Force Reserve honor cordon waits the start of a wing change of command ceremony in a hangar here, April 11. Col. Fritz Linsenmeyer assumed command of the 910th Airlift Wing from Col. Karl McGregor during the event. Col. McGregor assumed command of the 452nd Air Mobility Wing at March Air Reserve Base, Calif., March 27. Col. Linsenmeyer's previous assignment was commander of the 916th Air Refueling Wing, an Air Force Reserve unit at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, NC. As commander of the 910th, Col. Linsenmeyer is the leader of more than 1800 Citizen Airmen, Air Reserve Technicians and civil service employees and has operational control of 12 C-130H tactical cargo transport aircraft.
