910th co-pilot checks instruments during Joint Enterprise airlift mission

SOMEHWERE OVER GERMANY -- Air Force Reserve Capt. Peter Chand checks the flight instruments on the control panel of a C-130H Hercules tactical cargo transport aircraft, asssigned to the 910th Airlift Wing based at Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, moments after taking off from Ramstein Air Base, Germany, October 22, 2009. Captain Chand, co-pilot on this aircraft, and eight other Citizen Airmen from YARS are on an airlift mission delivering passengers and cargo to the country of Moldova, located in eastern Europe between Romania and the Ukraine. The aircrew members participating in this airlift mission are among more than 70 Servicemembers from the 910th AW attached to the 38th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, based here. The 38th EAS is supporting Operation Joint Enterprise by providing tactical airlift capability to locations in the U.S. Europe Command (EUROCOM), U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) and U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) theaters of operations.
