C-130 Flies Low to Get it Done
PARRIS ISLAND S.C. — An Air Force Reserve C-130 Hercules assigned to the 910th Airlift Wing, applioes an insecticide to combat biting midges at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot here October 6. The aerial spray aircraft releases the insecticide from 150 feet off of the ground to ensure maximum coverage of the target area. Major Cathy Miller, the combat decorated pilot flying this mission, has undergone specialty training for these low altitude precision aerial spray missions.
