910th Navigation Officer plots course for Reservists? deployment
SOMEWHERE OVER THE NORTH ATLANCTIC OCEAN - Air Force Reserve Lt. Col. Don Loomis, a navigator assigned to the 773rd Airlift Squadron, works at his station on the flight deck of a C-130H tactical cargo transport aircraft during a flight to Prestwick, Scotland, October 13. Col. Loomis is plotting the aircraft?s course towards the country in the northern part of the United Kingdom during the second leg of a flight with the eventual destination of Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Col. Loomis and his fellow Reservists from the 910th Airlift Wing, based at Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, are bound for Ramstein in support of Operation Joint Enterprise. The C-130 crews and maintainers participating in Joint Enterprise will work together to airlift cargo to locations in the U.S. Europe Command (EUROCOM) and the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) Theaters of Operation.
