C-130 Flies Low to Get it Done
PARRIS ISLAND S.C. — A massive C-130 Hercules assigned to the Air Force Reserve 's 910th Airlift Wing, aerial sprays the Marine Corps Recruit Depot for biting midges and mosquitoes at an amazing 150 feet above the ground. Air Force Reserve Major Cathy Miller, a combat decorated C-130 pilot flying the unique spray mission, has undergone numerous hours of specialty training for these very low altitude precision aerial spray missions.
