910th firefighters feel the heat
YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio -- Citizen Airmen firefighters assigned to the 910th Civil Engineer Squadron participate in a simulated aircraft fuel fire exercise at the controlled burn pit here, July 12, 2009. This exercise is an annual requirement and helps provide the Airmen with the experience and proficiency needed to control various fire situations. The burn pit contains a propane-fueled aircraft frame that can burst into flames at the flick of a switch controlled by the exercise supervisors.
