Personnelist Named Senior NCO Of The Year For 2006

YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio—Air Force Reserve Master Sgt. Korene R. Rooks has been named 910th Airlfit Wing Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year for 2006. Sergeant Rooks is a full-time Air Reserve Technician and chief of personnel employment. She oversees personnel placement ensuring recruits are assigned to the most compatible Air Force specialities. Sergeant Rooks works directly with local 910th recruiters to accomplish her mission. A staple here, She has been assigned to the 910th for more than 32 years. She enjoys making crafts, crocheting and sewing as well as teaching Bible classes for 6th through 9th graders. "I am proud to tell everyone about how great the 910th is. People here are willing to go the extra mile to help out others both here and in the community. God has blessed us and so we pass it on!" Sergeant Rooks said. U.S. Air Force photo/Mr. Eric White.
