Aerial Spray Maintenance Pioneer Retires
YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio -- Air Force Reserve Senior Master Sgt. William A. Rooks Jr., 910th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Flight Chief, receives a retirement shadow box capturing the memories of years of service with the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserve from 1st Lt. Rocco A. Favorite, 910th Aircraft Maintence Squadron officer during Sergeant Rooks' retirement ceremony here Dec. 2. Prior to becoming a flight chief with the maintenance squadron, Sergeant Rooks was the chief of Aerial Spray Maintenance for many years and was instrumental in the development and maintenance of the Modular Aerial Spray Systems used to conduct aerial spray missions today.
