910th Medical Squadron participates in Dominican Republic MEDRETE 2009
AZUA, Dominican Republic — U.S. Air Force Reserve Maj. Patrick Lanaghan, 910th Medical Squadron medical science officer, carries a box of medical supplies onto a school campus here. The school was one of three locations for Dominican Republic Medical Readiness Training Exercise (MEDRETE) 2009. Town residents standing outside the fence of the campus are among more than 10,000 Dominicans expected to receive much needed medical care during the mission that will also visit a site in the Dominican town of Padre Las Casas and another site in Azua. Maj. Lanaghan is among a team of more than 30 Citizen Airman who left from Youngstown Air Reserve Sation, Ohio, April 25 and are scheduled to return May 8. U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
