54th Pilot for a Day welcomed to YARS
YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio -- The 910th Airlift Wing's 54th Pilot for a Day, honorary 2nd Lieutenant Nicholas Greathouse, receives a model C-130H Hercules aircraft from honorary Brigadier General and honorary base commander Fred Kubli. Jr., here, July 24. Kubli presented the model on behalf the Youngstown Air Reserve Base Community Council, for which he is treasurer. Pilot for a Day is a community outreach program that works through Akron Children's Hospital Boardman to welcome children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses to the station for a day of military experiences.
