910th Citizen Airmen, loved ones share Family Day 2014
YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio – Youngstown State University mascots Pete and Penny Penguin as well as Youngstown Phantoms mascot Sparky stand in front of an Air Force Reserve C-130 Hercules aircraft, assigned to the 910th Airlift Wing based here, on the flightline during the wing’s recent Family Day held here, August 3, 2014. Family day is an installation open house held for 910th Servicemembers and their families, designed to let Reserve families strengthen bonds and experience the home station of their Reservist loved one. The mascots were on hand to promote upcoming 910th community events with YSU’s 1-AA football team and the United States Hockey League’s Phantoms team. U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt.
