Woman on wings inspires future aviators

Carol Pilon’s 1940 Boeing-Stearman sits in a hangar here, May 17, 2014. Pilon performed on the wings of the aircraft, piloted by Marcus Payne, as part of the 2014 Thunder Over the Valley Air Show and Open House, hosted here May 17-18.
