Warren mayor visits 910th, YARS
YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio – Following a tour of the 910th Airlift Wing’s 76th Aerial Port Squadron and a windshield tour of the installation, the mayor’s tour continued to one of the installation’s maintenance hangars, where he had the opportunity to get an up close and personal view of one of the wing’s assigned cargo aircraft. Less Parkey (right), an crew chief assigned to the 910th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, both based here, talks with Mayor Doug Franklin (left), of the nearby City of warren, about aircraft capabilities on the flight deck of a C-130 Hercules cargo aircraft in a hangar here, March 7, 2014. The mayor visited YARS to learn more about the wing’s capabilities and the installation’s features firsthand as well as meet some of the Citizen Airmen assigned here.
