910th commander talks YARS with Ohio 6th district congressman
YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio – Air Force Reserve Col. James Dignan, commander of the 910th Airlift Wing, talks with Congressman Bill Johnson, Ohio 6th district, during the U.S. representative’s visit to the Federal Aviation Administration’s Air Traffic Control Tower located here, Feb. 14, 2014. Johnson visited the FAA tower and adjacent Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport to discuss a variety of issues affecting the facilities and YARS. The 910th’s installation is designated as an air station because it utilizes the FAA tower and the runways maintained by the airport to accomplish the wing’s mission to ‘Deploy, Deliver, Defend’ anytime, anywhere around the globe.
