New mayor of Youngstown visits 910th, YARS
YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio – After a walkthrough of the YARS lodging facilities and a windshield tour of the installation, the mayor’s tour continued on to the wing’s maintenance areas. Air Force Reserve Col. David Post (right), commander of the 910th Maintenance Group, based here, talks with Mayor John McNally, of the nearby City of Youngstown, about aircraft maintenance operations while standing beneath the tail of one of ten C-130 Hercules tactical cargo transport aircraft assigned to the 910th in a hangar here, Jan. 17, 2014. The mayor visited YARS to learn more about the wing’s capabilities and the installation’s features firsthand as well as meet some of the Citizen Airmen assigned here.
