910th Airlift Wing Commander Colonel James D. Dignan (right), conducts the oath of enlistment with Bruce Cellars (left), here, Oct. 30, 2013. Bruce came to Youngstown Air Reserve Station where he was enlisted as the 56th Pilot for a Day and an honorary 2nd Lieutenant. Bruce’s day included a base tour, high-speed taxi down the flight strip in a C-130H Hercules aircraft, a tour of the base fire department that included the chance to control a crash response truck water cannon and escort service in a Marine Corps Humvee, provided by the Marine Corps Reserve center here.
