Family day strengthens pillar of Reserve triad

YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio— Brian Horner, a security forces officer here, escorts Air Force Reserve Second Lieutenant Dustin Honious and Staff Sgt. Dana Uber, both members of the 910th Security Forces Squadron, to the jail and bail containment facility during Youngstown Air Reserve Station’s family day event. Family day jail and bail is a squadron fund-raiser that allows Airmen to pay to have other Airmen “arrested.” The arrested individuals can pay a small fee to be released, or solicit other Airmen to pay their bond. Family day is a yearly open house held for Citizen Airmen and their families, designed to let Reserve families strengthen bonds and experience the home station of their Reservist loved one.
