910th Maintainers use safer inspection system
Youngstown Air Reserve Station C-130H Hercules aircraft tail #107 sits in a hangar surrounded by a new isochronal inspection dock stand system here, Aug. 25, as Airmen work atop the aircraft’s wing. Each Youngstown C-130 undergoes an isochronal inspection every 540 days. 910th Maintainers now perform the inspections using a new, $1.5 million dock stand system designed to increase efficiency and safety for workers. YARS is the first installation in Air Force Reserve Command to acquire the system beyond its prototype phase. U.S. Air Force photo/Eric M. White.
