910th Communications Squadron provides high-tech capabilities for Idaho spray mission
Air Force Reserve Staff Sgt. Gregory Mackel, a Cyber Systems Technician assigned to the 910th Communications Squadron (CS), listens as Tech. Sgt. Donald Adkins, 910th CS Radio Frequency Transmission Technician, talks with him about radio systems operations in the 910th CS work center here, Sept. 16, 2014. A five-person 910th CS team is providing support to the two-week mission through a wide variety of technologies designed to keep all of the 910th’s Citizen Airmen in touch with each other and their home base of Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio while performing their duty in Idaho. The 910th Airlift Wing, based at Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, is home to the Department of Defense’s only large-area, fixed-wing aerial spray capability. U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt.
