Sixtieth Pilot for a Day sworn in at Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN AIR RESERVE STATION, Ohio—Eleven-year-old Jacob Sypert was sworn in as the 910th Airlift Wing’s 60th Pilot for a Day here, Oct. 29, 2014. Sypert spent the day experiencing military activities including a high-speed taxi down the runway in a Youngstown C-130H Hercules aircraft,The Pilot for a Day program began in 2000 as a community outreach event for the purpose of providing a fun-filled day for children with life-threatening or chronic illnesses.
