910th Aerial Spray mission provides fire prevention, valuable training and more in skies over Idaho

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho – An up close look at a field of invasive cheat grass on the ground at nearby Saylor Creek Bombing Range here, Sept. 17, 2014, The 910th Airlift Wing, based at Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, is home to the Department of Defense’s only large-area, fixed-wing aerial spray capability, conducted a mission to spray herbicide on invasive cheat grass as a means of fire prevention here, Sept. 15-26, 2014.
