Yellow Ribbon event equips Servicemembers
Air Force Reserve 910th Airlift Wing Equal Opportunity Specialist Tech. Sgt. Marco Gonzalez holds up a poster created by Servicemembers and their families during a family fun activity session at a local Yellow Ribbon Program event at the Kalahari resort here, May 10, 2015. The 910th, based at nearby Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio (YARS), hosted the May 8 – 10, 2015 event which was attended by more than 90 Citizen Airmen and their family members and supported by more than 30 Yellow Ribbon staff members and resource providers including Gonzalez. The Yellow Ribbon Program is mandated by the U.S. Congress and is designed to provide tools to Servicemembers and their families to aid them before, during and after an extended military tour.
