910th welcomes U.S. Sen. Portman for YARS visit
Air Force Reserve Master Sgt. John Zoky, a crew chief assigned to the 910th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, points out avionics instruments to Ohio U.S. Senator Rob Portman, seated in the pilot’s chair, on the flight deck of one of the 910th Airlift Wing’s C-130H cargo aircraft during the senator’s visit here, July 17, 2015. Portman’s office requested the visit to meet with YARS leadership and get an up close view of installation assets and the unit’s equipment including the wing’s aircraft which are used to conduct airlift/airdrop operations and act as a platform for the Department of Defense’s only large-area, fixed wing aerial spray capability.
