Softball homer

Master Sgt. Jamie Purola, section chief of cyber transport for the 910th Communications Squadron, crushes the most prodigious home run in the history of Youngstown Air Reserve Station softball. The ball traveled in excess of 350 feet. Purola’s blast was the impetus in the Communications Squadron’s 18-17 victory over the 910th Force Support Squadron in the base intramural championship game, August 1, 2015. The Communications Squadron victory was their third straight championship. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Tech. Sgt. Rick Lisum)
