O’Brien presented Dignan and White the Community IMpact Award, recognizing the volunteer efforts of Service members assigned to Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio on behalf of Inspiring Minds. Since beginning in 2006, Inspiring Minds has offered after-school programs to better the lives of under-represented youth in Warren, Ohio. Several YARS Service members regularly volunteer their time to host on-base fitness events, study table and tutoring sessions and fun days for high school students with IM.
