Active shooter exercise tests base response
Robert Brown, special agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, observes as 910th Security Forces fire team members Staff Sgt. Marcus Weisbarth and Tech. Sgt. Richard Lape are debriefed after neutralizing an active shooter in a training exercise here, July 26, 2016. The base-wide exercise involved an active shooter opening fire in the supply building using blank rounds shot from an M-4 training rifle. All base buildings were locked down and some work centers were evacuated while Wing Inspection Team members evaluated. The scenario was designed to test responses from building managers and occupants and installation security forces. (U.S. Air Force photo/Eric White)
