Local educators gain Air Force Reserve experience

Air Force Reserve Tech. Sgt. Ross Gordon, a metals technology journeyman assigned to the 910th Maintenance Squadron, shows two brackets to explain one of the capabilities in his work center to a group of more than 30 educators in Hangar 305 here, Sept. 27, 2017. The bracket in Gordon’s right hand was produced through conventional manufacturing methods and the bracket in Gordon’s left hand was created on a 3-D printer in the 910th’s metal fabrication work center here. The purpose of the Educator Awareness Event was to allow attendees to learn more about Air Force Reserve career opportunities from their local recruiting team and have a fuller understanding of the 910th’s mission and a greater appreciation for Air Force Reserve opportunities available to high school and college students in Northeast Ohio.
