Eastern Ohio Military Affairs Commission held meeting at YARS

Rep. Tim Ryan speaks during an Eastern Ohio Military Affairs Commission meeting July 27, 2018, at the Community Activity Center on Youngstown Air Reserve Station. “We’ve been able to get in the past few years 30 million dollars to tie this base to the most cutting edge advanced manufacturing and additive manufacturing initiatives happening around the country,” said Ryan. “This facility is front and center, so we pump money into the infrastructure here, the facilities here, but we also want this base to be a part of the intellectual future of the military, so these are the kind of investments we are making.” EOMAC’s mission is to support, expand and defend the military missions that call Eastern Ohio home.
