Bug docs bring experience from various walks of life
Lt. Col. Tom Janousek, an entomologist assigned to the 910th Airlift Wing's 757th Airlift Squadron, explains to attendees of a Department of Defense aerial spray course the techniques used during an aerial spray demonstration, Jan. 9, 2019 at the Buckingham Air Field at the Lee County Mosquito Control District facilities in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Janousek is one of five 910th entomologists whose skills help accomplish the wing’s aerial spray mission to control disease-carrying insects, pest insects and undesirable vegetation and to disperse oils spills in large bodies of water.
