Bug docs bring experience from various walks of life
Lt. Col. Don Teig, an entomologist assigned to the 910th Airlift Wing's 757th Airlift Squadron, discusses observations during a C-130H Hercules flyover aerial spray demonstration, Jan. 9, 2019 at the Buckingham Air Field at the Lee County Mosquito Control District facilities in Lehigh Acres, Florida during a Department of Defense aerial spray course. Teig is one of five 910th entomologists whose skills help accomplish the wing’s aerial spray mission to control disease-carrying insects, pest insects and undesirable vegetation and to disperse oils spills in large bodies of water.
