Retired General Schwartz visits 910th AW
Gen. (ret) Norton Schwartz, the 19th Chief of Staff of the Air Force, watches Tech. Sgt. James Phillis, an aircraft metals technician assigned to the 910th Maintenance Squadron, 3-D scan a Modular Aerial Spray System part on April 6, 2019, at Youngstown Air Reserve Station. Schwartz will be this year’s guest speaker for the 910th Airlift Wing annual awards banquet. The 910th MXS has been paving the way for 3-D printing in the Air Force by exploring the benefits of additive manufacturing (3-D printing) on the station’s C-130H Hercules aircraft fleet.
