76th APS wins the 2019 Port Dawg Challenge
Tech. Sgt. Kyle Peirson and Tech. Sgt. Tae Choe, Reserve Citizen Airmen with the 76th Aerial Port Squadron, measure chain lengths as Master Sgt. Zach Dunkin, another 76th APS member, notes the measurement during the cargo restraint event on April 23, 2019, during the 2019 Port Dawg Challenge at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia. The team was graded on how quickly and accurately they could determine the restraint requirements for a vehicle, tie down the vehicle to requirements and measure the chain length to determine the poundage of the restraint. Cargo has to be restrained to specific requirements in the back of an aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Noah J. Tancer)
