2nd Lt. Stringer becomes newest member of 910th AW family

Donovan Stringer, an honorary 2nd Lt. and Pilot for a Day, sits in the passenger seat of a fire truck on July 26, 2019, at the 910th Airlift Wing Fire Station. Stringer received his very own firefighter helmet that was signed by the 910th AW firefighters during his tour of the station. The 910th AW began the Pilot for a Day program in 2000 as a community partnership with Akron Children’s Hospital and has since welcomed 66 children with chronic or life-threatening illness as honorees.
