2nd Lt. Stringer becomes newest member of 910th AW family

Donovan Stringer, an honorary 2nd Lt. and Pilot for a Day, and Staff Sgt. Steven Belfi, a fire team member with the 910th Security Forces Squadron, conduct a simulated arrest of Senior Airman Emmanuel Kreise on July 26, 2019, on the flightline at Youngstown Air Reserve Station. Stringer also had the opportunity of riding inside a cruiser with Belfi to ride out to the simulated arrest site. The 910th AW began the Pilot for a Day program in 2000 as a community partnership with Akron Children’s Hospital and has since welcomed 66 children with chronic or life-threatening illness as honorees.
